A Product Manager/ Chef de produit
- Position Summary
As a Product Manager at Samsung Electronics, you will spearhead the end-to-end management of product lifecycles, driving market expansion and profitability across diverse regions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic product line-ups, optimize pricing strategies, and ensure seamless product launches. Leveraging your expertise in sales, marketing, and data analysis, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing revenue, minimizing operational risks, and maintaining Samsung’s competitive edge in global markets.
Position Responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute product line-up strategies to expand market coverage and achieve sales targets.
- Analyze market trends and sales forecasts to inform product planning and inventory management.
- Design annual marketing strategies in coordination with the Marketing team.
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Oversee product lifecycle from launch to discontinuation, ensuring alignment with profitability goals.
- Manage aging stock clearance plans and minimize material waste during product discontinuation.
- Coordinate supply chain operations to ensure timely product availability.
- Pricing & Sales Optimization
- Formulate pricing strategies and sales conditions to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Conduct sell-in, sell-out, and profit analysis to refine pricing and promotional plans.
- Launch & Retail Management
- Lead new product launches, including LLP (Local Launch Plan) development, training content creation, and retail agency coordination.
- Execute retail flooring plans and collaborate with the relevant team to optimize in-store presence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to align timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Resolve operational challenges, stakeholder conflicts, and product-related issues proactively.
- Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor performance metrics (e.g., sales, profit, inventory) and present actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed reports on market performance and future forecasts.
Requirements & Qualifications :
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 5–10 years in Sales, Product Management, or a similar field, preferably in consumer electronics.
Skills:
Expertise in product lifecycle management, pricing strategy, and data analysis.
Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
Fluency in Arabic, English, and French (written and spoken).
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
