Halkorb RH  is recruiting, on behalf of its client, a multinational company operating in the oil and gas sector, a Senior accountant.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 :

• Keeping accounting journals, bank reconciliations, asset tracking and inventories.
• Produce financial analyses for management.
• Participate in the development of strategic recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Account for cash flows and monitor banking operations.
• Prepare social and tax balance sheets based on the dedicated ZF book for DZD accounting.
• Apply Group accounting and financial procedures.
• Perform SOX controls within its scope.
• Participate in system evolution projects.
• Monitor intercompany operations, JV, and flows related to oil contracts.
• Monitor roles and user profiles on financial tools.
• Contribute to the dissemination of Group standards within the Finance team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments and ensure good coordination with internal and external interlocutors.
• Support Treasury, Management Control, Legal, and HR teams.
• Participate in internal, external, and JV audits.
• Monitor anti-fraud and anti-corruption controls.
• Monitor legal and social obligations (CNAS, CASNOS, taxes).
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and consolidation packages.
• Meet closing and reporting deadlines.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Contribute to monthly Group reporting.

Required Profile : 

•  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
•  Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a financial function.
• Strong expertise in accounting standards (IFRS and SCF), management of accounting closings, preparation of financial statements and accounting tools and ERP systems.
• Knowledge in accounting, taxation and tax declarations, treasury management, bank reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Advanced use of SAP.
• Knowledge of financial tools.
• Experience in managing banking relationships and payment operations.
• Excellent command of French and English.
• Strong team spirit and collaboration.
• Proactive mindset and ability to take initiative.
